Chhattisgarh Congress leaders on Sunday registered complaints against BJP candidate Manikant Rathore and MLA Madan Dilawar, both from Karnataka, for alleged conspiracy to kill Congress President Mallikarjun Khare.
State Congress President Mohan Markam, and state in-charge Secretary Chandan Yadav lodged the complaint at the Civil Line Police Station in Bilaspur, a party communication said.
Markam said the complaints were lodged in all the district police stations of the state.
He said the complaint raised the demand for the arrest of the accused. He alleged that the Congress leaders are concerned over the safety of their national president.
