Action will be soon taken against non-banking financial companies (NBFCs) of the State against those complaints have been received.
Chief Secretary Vivek Dhand issued directives in this regard in a meeting of State Coordination Committee held here on Wednesday. The Committee has been constituted to monitor the NBFCs.
Presiding over the meeting, Dhand directed the officers for regular audit of NBFCs. Discussions were held in detail about business of NBFCs operating in the State.
General Manager of the Bhopal branch of Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Sanjeev Sharma apprised the members about the RBI guidelines regarding business of NBFCs. A compliance report on the decisions taken in previous meeting of the committee was also presented before the committee.
Additional Chief Secretary -Finance DS Mishra, Additional Chief Secretary, Home NK Aswal, Secretary ,Finance Amit Agrawal, Director General of Police AN Upadhyay, Additional Director General of Police Sanjay Pillai, RC Srivastava, RBI Deputy GM Veena Srivastava and Regional Director of SEBI Piyush Gupta were present in the meeting.
