Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Saturday said that it is the responsibility of the newly elected Mayor and Chairman to fulfill the expectations of the people. Various works need to be completed on time.
He was addressing an event after Bhilai Charoda Mayor Nirmal Kosare and Chairman Krishna Chandrakar took charge at the Municipal headquarters.
He said people should feel that their decision to elect the representatives was right. Public will approach the civic body with problems and work.
The developmental works undertaken should continue in any circumstances. It is the responsibility of all elected representatives to ensure that work is done.
Baghel said: “It was my dream to enter the office of the corporation, only when the people give the full mandate, which covers my residential house. The dream has been fulfilled after 22 years of wait.”
