Bastar Collector Ankit Anand, while reviewing progress of development works being carried out by the Panchayat and Rural Development department, instructed the officials concerned to complete all incomplete works sanctioned in the financial year 2012-13 by March 31.
In the review meeting held at the District panchayat meeting hall, works being carried out in Janpad panchayat Jagadalpur, including MNREGA, Indira Awas Yojana, BRGF, NRl and other schemes were discussed.
The Collector asked the officials to submit work completion certificate of those works that have been completed immediately.
Anand asked the Chief executive officer Janpad Panchayat Jagadalpur to distribute village panchayat-wise work to Assistant Engineer and technical assistants.
He instructed to complete construction of community hall, fair price shop godown, CC road and fencing works sanction under BRGF scheme at village panchayat Dhanpunji and Ghatpadmoor. He pulled up the village panchayat secretary for the incomplete work.
Under the MNREGA, the Collector instructed to place muster roll, B-8, B-9 and B-10 register compulsorily at the workplace, installation of notice board at the workplace before the beginning of the work, to provide necessary facilities, payment of wages to the labourers every week through bank and post office, information about muster roll and MB and valuation of work in time.
He instructed to immediately start works at the village or village panchayat, where the work has not yet been started.
CEO district panchayat Kl Chouhan instructed the CEO and the programme officer Janpad Panchayat to provide 100 days job to maximum registered labourers under MNREGA and to complete incomplete works of year 2012-13 by December 31. He also instructed to cancel the works sanctioned in the financial year 2013-14 that has not yet been started.
Additional CEO district panchayat Hemant Thakur, CEO, programme officer Janpad Panchayat Jagadalpur, all project officers, in-charge officer district panchayat, sub divisional officer, sub engineers, technical assistant, assistant development extension officers, village panchayat secretaries, village employment assistants and other officers and employees were present in the meeting.
