Students of Agrasen Girls College, Korba, visited the water treatment plant of Bharat Aluminium Company limited (BAlCO) here and learned its functioning. The students of B.Sc Micro Biology final year were introduced to the machines and equipments used in the treatment of water of Hasdeo River.
Before the inspection of plant, the Community Relations Head of Balco plant B K Srivastav briefed the students regarding extension and community welfare projects being undertaken by Balco.
On the behalf of industrial safety department, the students were made aware of safety measures standards and precautions. The students expressed pleasure and gratitude towards the Balco management and information they had provided regarding the plant functioning.
