Collector Bhim Singh reviewed the progress of Prime Minister’s Jan-Dhan Yojana in the district. Singh called upon the bank officers to issue pass books and Ru-Pay card to the account-holders as soon as possible. The meeting was held at the Zila Panchayat conference hall. The lead bank manager was urged to conduct a camp and create awareness among the people.
The collector asked the officials to erect a flex board at the Gram Panchayat building to spread awareness among the masses. The bank officers were asked to submit details of the Ru-Pay cards. He urged the concerned officials to collect details of Aadhaar card seeding, women beneficiaries account details and present the same in the next meeting.
