Collector Dhananjay Devangan chaired a weekly time limit meeting at Collectorate auditorium to hold a review for preparations of support price paddy purchase to be commenced from November 16 onwards.
He strictly instructed weights and measures department officers to do physical verification of weighing machines of all 79 collection centers and submit a report to District office as early as possible.
He also ordered for physical verification of weighing machines at Bhoramdeo Sugar Factory. Collector said that complaint should not be received from any farmer regarding weights and measures of paddy procurement.
Officials say that 50152 farmers of the State have been registered who have farming land of 69629 hectares.
Collector also urged for immediate resolution of applications received in various schemes and programs. Chief Municipal Officer (CMO) of urban bodies Bodla, Pandariya and Sahaspur lohara was absent in the meeting and instructions were given to issue a show-cause notice to them.
