Collector Bhim Singh reviewed the progress of Gram Vikas Yojana in the Charra village and asked the officials to submit the report on the schemes implemented so far. He stressed for ascertaining the actual progress of the schemes while preparing the report. Singh said that it is necessary to ensure 100 per cent attendance of the children in schools, providing tap connection under Nal-Jal Yojana, lavatory in every home, keeping a check on malnutrition among the children and better implementation of Government schemes.
The Departmental officials were also asked to give a regular visit to the village and keep a record of progress of schemes. In the meeting, Collector asked the officials to conduct documentation apart from taking the videos and photos of the schemes. DFO Vivek Aacharya, District Panchayat CEO P S Elma and departmental officials were present in the meeting.
