District Collector Shruti Singh directed the officials to ensure the completion of the preparations for 15 day-long ‘Rajim Kumbh’ Mela scheduled to begin from February 10. The biggest annual religious gathering of Chhattisgarh will conclude on February 24.
The Collector had offered January 30 as deadline for completing all preparations. She also reviewed the works of PWD, PHED, WRD, Health, Electricity, Revenue and Police Department respectively at a review meeting.
The Collector directed the PWD officials to prepare layout of the venue besides construction of temporary roads, helipad, parking venues etc.
Singh ordered PHED officials for providing proper arrangements of drinking water and temporary toilets for the visitors.
