Modifying the previous order regarding transportation of coal, Collector Ritu Sen changed the timing of transportation of coal from Parsa East, Kete Basen and Amera coal mines through an alternative route from Sandbar via Koildiha Kalighat from 8 pm to 7 am. According to the previous order, the timing for coal transportation was 10 pm to 7 am, officials said.
The officials said that Rajasthan State Power Production Company limited had requested for relief in the no entry timing to transport coal for its power plants in Rajasthan through Ring Road in Ambikapur.After taking advice from the Superintendent of Police, the Collector has permitted transportation of coal between 8 pm and 7 am.
