Collector Umesh Kumar inspected a number of schools, primary health centres and Anganbadi centres of Mahsamund and Bagbahara development blocks in the district. During the inspection of the primary health centre of Khallari, the Collector found that the doctor-in-charge was absent from his duty. The collector directed the Chief Health and Medical Officer AKS Ratre to stop his one annual increment.
The Collector also gathered information on mid day meals, availability of the toilets in the schools. Kumar also visited Government middle school of Pali and Aganbadi centre, Government primary school, pre Matric Scheduled tribes hostels at Jhara and primary school of Mohagaon.
