Newly posted Collector of Raipur district, OP Choudhary on Wednesday conducted surprise inspection at a Community Health Centre in Abhanpur block, Tehsil office and a School in Mana near Raipur.
During inspection at the Community Health Centre, Choudhary reviewed the functioning of medicine distribution centre, attendance record of doctors and institutional deliveries recorded at the centre.
Moreover, he also suggested doctors to prescribe generic medicines to patients and ensure availability of medicines to them from the centre.
On the occasion, Choudhary also directed Chief Medical and Health Officer (CHMO) to ensure availability of medicine stock to the centre in time.
Meanwhile, the Collector carried out inspection at Government Higher Secondary School in Mana and interacted with students. Besides, giving specific instructions to Head Master and other teaching staff, the he rook stock of Mid-day meal programme and other facilities being provided by the State government to students.
likewise, the Collector also visited Abhanpur tehsil office and directed officials concerned to ensure timely disposal of revenue related cases.
