Collector and District Electoral Officer Amrit Khalko has formed a team of officers to take action against those violating the Poll Model Code of Conduct when it is enforced in the State.
In his order, Khalko said that the action would be taken against supporters of political parties who put up banners, posters and hoardings on Government land, electric and telephone poles or carry out writings on the wall during the implementation of the Model Code of Conduct, according to an official press release issued here on Thursday.
