Delegation of Chhattisgarh Olympic Association (COA) paid courtesy call on Chief Minister Raman Singh at his official residence office on Monday.
Delegation expressed gratitude for appointment of Joint Secretary of Indian Olympic Association as Advisor to Chief Minister. Delegation expressed hope that this will provide necessary support for expansion of sports activities and facilities.
Delegation had discussion on various topics including implementation of Olympic Association's decisions, hike in allowances of players in National Sports Tournaments, appointment of excelling players on Government jobs, expansion of various sports facilities, among others with Chief Minister.
Chief Minister assured the delegation of initiating necessary dialogue on these subjects with Sports Secretary.
On the occasion, Joint Secretary of Indian Olympic Association Vikram Sisodia, Satish Mishra, Prashant Singh, Saras Shukla, Gurucharan Hora, Neeta Dumre, Gopal Khandelwal, Bashir Khan, Mohammad Akram Khan among others were present.
