Son of Chief Minister Raman Singh and BJP’s lok Sabha candidate from Rajnandgaon, Abhishek Singh, used Narendra Modi’s Gujarat model, while campaigning in villages of the State on Tuesday.
Development in Gujarat has brought India shoulder to shoulder with the developed countries, said Singh, while addressing public gatherings in the State’s villages. He said that Gujarat Chief Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party’s prime ministerial candidate is leading from the front with promises of unprecedented development.
“Development in its truest sense will happen only if our villages are developed”, said Singh while addressing the people in Bhatagaon, Tumdileva and Baghera villages. “And the BJP Government in the State has opened avenues of development in villages,” he said.
Taking a pot shot at candidates of other political parties, Singh said that if those candidates are so concerned about the farmers, they must explain why farmers are committing suicide in those States where their parties are in power.
Expanding his campaign, Singh addressed public gatherings in Parasbod, Bargahi, Uparwah, Mudipar, Maladabri, Bhainsatara, Gopalpur, Ghumka, Charbhanta, Mohandi, Bijetala, Irikla, Patewa, Masool and other villages. “Chhattisgarh was among the underdeveloped States but in ten years of the BJP reign, the State is now among the top rankers of the country,” he said.
Singh said that a BJP Government at the Centre will boost development in the State even more. MP Madhusudan Yadav, MlA Sarojini Banjare, District President Bharat Verma and other officials accompanied Abhishek for the campaigns.
