In order to make the victory of his father and chief minister Dr Raman Singh easy, Abhishek Singh has been giving answer to the meetings of the Congress with meetings.
So far Abhishek met senior party workers and commonman in half a dozen wards.For the last two days, he has been making every possible effort to woo the electorate in favour of the Chief Minister by whirlwind tours of the urban areas, however, his intense tour of rural areas is proposed.
According to sources, the Congress is also keeping an eye on the tours of the chief minister’s son.
Abhishek Singh has campaigned in favour of his party in three wards, including ward number 40. He also made himself aware of the political situation of the wards, by visiting the houses of the party leaders.
The Chief Minister’s son was being warmly welcomed by the voters in the wards. Wherever he goes, women welcomed him by taking out his ‘Aarti’.
It is said that during his ward visits, Abhishek has been holding community level meetings and seeking their help in making the chief minister victorious. In the Rajnandgaon assembly constituency, 45 wards are there under the Corporation and 65 villages in the rural sector.
Congress candidate Alka Mudaliyar, was also holding meetings with eminent citizens in their houses. Her son Jitendra Mudaliyar is also in the forefront to hold the front in favour of his mother. All eyes are in the country are on the Rajnandgaon assembly seat in the district.
