Chief Minister Raman Singh unveiled a calendar of Chhattisgarh State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (SCPCR) based on the theme of child rights at his official residence the other day.
Notably, paintings focusing on rights including Right to Security and Right to Participation of Children had been showcased in the calendar by inmates of Juvenile Home, Schools and children with special needs. Praising the efforts of SCPCR, Singh said the calendar will prove a guide for the social organizations and persons working for child protection issues.
He made an appeal to people belonging to various sections of the society to join hands towards the development of children.
He felt the sensibility of Indian culture should reflect in the mental and physicaldevelopment of children.
