Chief Minister Raman Singh will unfurl the national flag at Ambikapur district headquarters while Chhattisgarh Assembly Speaker Gaurishankar Agrawal will unfurl at Jagdalpur district headquarters on the Republic Day on January 26 this year.
After unfurling the flag, the Chief Minister would read out his message to the people of the State. The State Government has come out with the list of Cabinet Ministers, MPs and heads of Zila Panchayats who would unfurl the national flag at districts headquarters of the State.
As per the list, Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Ajay Chandrakar would unfurl the national flag at Dhamtari, Public Health and Family Welfare Minister Amar Agrawal at Bilaspur, Minister for Water Resources and Agriculture Brijmohan Agrawal at Raigarh, Tribal Development Minister Kedar Kashyap at Dantewada (South Bastar), Revenue and Higher Education Minister Prem Prakash Pandey at Durg, Food and Civil Supplies Minister Punnulal Mohale at Mungeli, PWD Minister Rajesh Munat at Rajnandgaon, Home Minister Ramsevak Paikra at, Surajpur, Woman and Child Development Minister Ramshila Sahu at Balod, MP Ramesh Bais at Baloda Bazar, MP Vishnudev Sai at Jashpur, MP Dinesh Kashyap at Bijapur, MP Sohan Potai at Kanker (North Bastar), MP Saroj Pandey at Bemetara, MP Kamla Devi Patle at Janjgir, MP Chandulal Sahu, Mahasamund, MP Madhusudan Yadav at Kawardha (Kabirdham) would read out the message of the Chief Minister for the people of the State.
This apart, president Zila Panchayat Korea Champadevi Pavle would unfurl the national flag at Baikunthpur, president, Zila Panchayat, Korba Shakuntala Kanwar at Korba, president Zila Panchayat, Bastar lachchuram Kashyap at Kondagaon, president Zila Panchayat Surguja Pushpa Netam at Balrampur, president, Zila Panchayat Narayanpur Bisel Singh Nag at Narayanpur, president Zila Panchayat Raipur laxmi Verma at Gariaband and president Zila Panchayat, South Bastar (Dantewada) Jamuna Manjhi at Sukma.
