Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel will inaugurate a seminar on the topic ‘Bastar Division Level Industrial Development’ at 11.00 am on Wednesday at Kumharand-based Shahid Gundadhur Agriculture College auditorium.
Commerce and Industries department minister Kawasi Lakhma would preside over the event. Special guest will be Agriculture, animal husbandry, fisheries and water resources minister Ravindra Choubey.
Discussion would be held on establishing ancillary industries for upcoming Nagarnar Steel Plant, besides agriculture and forest produce based industries.
Representatives from the National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC), agriculture, horticulture, animal husbandry, forest departments, agriculture and horticulture college will brief on the possibilities of establishing the industries and the steps to be taken by the government will be discussed.
Local Member of Parliament, MLAs, and senior officials of Bastar region will also be present.
Nodal Officer, District Business and Industries Centre General Manager Shiv Rathore said that all the industrialists and representatives of the Bastar Chamber of Commerce have been invited for the seminar.
