The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will begin the campaign for urban body election with Chief Minister Raman Singh’s public meeting in Mahasamund district on Saturday.
BJP Urban Body Election Control Room In-charge Ashok Sharma said that Singh will leave for Saraipali area of Mahasamund district at 11.30 am on Saturday. Singh will address a public meeting at Saraipali from 12 pm to 12.50 pm and leave for Janjgir-Champa. He will address a public meeting at Janjgir-Champa from 2.15 pn to 3 pm. He will later address a public meeting in Kharsiya of Raigarh district from 3.30pm-4.20pm. Singh will proceed from Kharsiya and reach Kirodimal at 4.40 pm and address a public meeting from 4.50 pm to 5.50pm. He will participate in a road show from 6 to 8pm in Raigarh and stay there in night, said Sharma.Similarly Minister Prem Prakash Pandey and Kedar Kashyap would address public meetings in support of BJP candidates in Jagdalpur,Sukma, Kirandul, Dantewada and Narayanpyur on Saturday, added Sharma.
