Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel will be the chief guest at 'Hareli' festival to be celebrated on August 1 in Bilaspur district. The state government also released names of chief guests of the festival in other districts. To preserve state's culture and tradition the government has decided to celebrate various indigenous festival.
The 'Hareli' is one of them. State Assembly Speaker Dr Charandas Mahant will be the chief guest at Korba, state home minister Tamradhwaj Sahu at Raipur, health minister T.S. Singhdeo at Janjgir-Champa, agriculture minister Ravindra Choubey at Raigarh, forest minister Mohammed Akbar at Rajnandgaon, women and child development minister Anila Bhedia at Bemetara, school education minister Dr Premsai Singh Tekam at Bastar, Dr Shiv Kumar Dahariya at Sarguja, excise minister Kawasi Lakhma at Dhamtari, food minister Amarjeet Bhagat at Jashpur, higher education minister Umesh Patel at Balrampur, PHE minister Guru Rudra Kumar at Kanker and revenue minister Jaisingh Agrawal at Dantewada. Similarly, MPs and others have been assigned to be present at tje festivity in different districts.
