Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said that Christian community has made significant contribution in the field of social service.
Various initiatives for welfare and upliftment of poor, orphans, widows and needy shows the compassion of this community, he said.
The Chief Minister was addressing a programme organized by Rashtriya Masihi Sangh at Dussehra ground in Bhilai on Wednesday evening.
Baghel said that he was glad to attend the programme organized by the Christian community. He thanked the community for its support in formation of the government.
