Chief Minister Raman Singh paid courtesy visit to ex-Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on Monday in New Delhi, and took his blessings. Vajpayee affectionately extended his warm wishes to Dr Raman Singh.
Dr Singh, on behalf of the people of the State, wished Vajpayee a speedy health recovery. Singh said that with his decision to constitute Chhattisgarh State in year 2000, Vajpayee had won hearts of all. People of Chhattisgarh always regard him as the ‘Creator of the State’, who initiated a new era of development in Chhattisgarh.
He added that it is due to the blessings of Vajpayee that we have successfully attained the victory in State Vidhan Sabha elections and have got the opportunity to form the Government in State for third consecutive time. We all pray for his long and healthy life, Raman Singh said.
