Chief Minister Raman Singh has expressed grief for the CRPF personnel, martyred while braving naxal attack on Tuesday at Taakbada near a village Tongpal of Jagdalpur (Bastar) and Sukma district. CM Singh has strongly condemned this dastardly act of naxalites and expressed condolence to the families of the martyrs.
Singh has condemned the naxal attack saying that it was a cowardly act of naxalites. “Our brave police personnel have sacrificed their lives while discharging their duty of ensuring peace and security for people in Bastar, their martyrdom will not go in vain”, said the Chief Minister. CM has prayed for speedy health recovery of the injured police personnel and has instructed the officials concerned to provide every possible aid to them. Singh said that the act has once again revealed the brutal and inhuman face of naxalites. Considering seriousness of the incident, Chief Minister has instructed State police to be alert and take effective steps at war footing for nabbing the criminals.
