Due to inclement weather, the Chopper carrying Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh failed to land at village Amlipadar in Gariaband district and returned to state capital on Friday.
The public meeting of the Chief Minister was immediately cancelled at the venue. Doubtful weather condition was already prevailing at Amlipadar and when the Chopper of Chief Minister reached there, the pilot decided not to land and decided to return to Raipur.
Meanwhile official sources further informed that the rest of the day’s programme of the Chief Minister remained as scheduled and later, the Chief Minister proceeded to Bagbahra region of Mahasamund district where another public meeting was to be held.
