Chief Minister Raman Singh reviewed the preparations and programmes on scheduled visit of President Ramnath Kovind to Chhattisgarh with his cabinet colleagues and senior officials at his official residence on Saturday. President is scheduled to visit the State on July 25 and 26 at Dantewada and Bastar (Jagdalpur).
Chief Minister also held video-conferencing with both district collectors, SPs and related department officials. He sought all details of the programmes and status of related preparations.
It is the second official visit of President to Chhattisgarh. Earlier, last year on November 5 and 6, he had visited the State. He had also visited the Guru Baba Ghasidas birth place at Giraudhpuri.
The proposed visit schedule of President include the interaction with farmers of Dantewada district involved in organic farming, visit to Jawanga based Education City and interaction with children, visit to village Hiranaar based Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram School, visit to Chitrakote Waterfall and public dedication of Jagdalpur Medical College Hospital Building.
