Chief Minister Raman Singh on Friday assured the farmers that State Government stands by them in the hour of crisis .
He was speaking at the Chhattisgarh Assembly during the one-day Special session convened for submitting second supplementary budget grants of Rs 2,101.54 crore.
Singh said that the authorities are keen on seeing the smiling faces of farmers before Diwali.
The Chief Minister said that Special Assembly session was called to address the issue of paddy bonus to farmers as early as possible.
Singh also greeted the citizens of the State on the auspicious occasion of ‘Sharadiya Navratri’.
