Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Saturday ordered Director General of Police Ashok Juneja to allot government houses to policemen with utmost transparency and seriousness.
The Chief Minister said the work of allotment should be done on priority basis on the basis of availability, an official statement said.
Baghel said policemen are engaged all 24 hours in public service and so their problems should be resolved quickly to ensure their sentiments are not hurt and their morale remains high.
Baghel also instructed the Inspectors General of Police and Superintendents of Police in all districts to review and dispose of such applications on priority.
