To mark Hareli on Thursday, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel dedicated to the farmers two new innovations of the Agriculture Engineering College.
At the Kisan Sammelan at Karsa, he launched cattle-driven battery-operated cultivator and planter machines.
With the launch of the new machines, the farmers will benefit, he said.
The two machines will also reduce the load on the cattle used for ploughing, he said.
The Agriculture Advisor to the Chief Minister, Pradeep Sharma, played a key role in suggesting the invention of the new equipment.
