As immunity is the key in fighting coronavirus, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Friday launched an Ayurvedic churan (powder) that boosts immunity.
The churan, a mix of 10 herbs, is made by a women Self Help Group (SHG) ‘Bhuteshwar Herbal Van Dhan Kendra’ based in Gairaband district.
“We can save ourselves from coronavirus only by boosting our immunity. The ‘Sarvjvarhar’ churan made by women from Gariaband will help a lot,” Baghel said.
Officials said the churan was a mix of ginger powder, black pepper, long Indian pepper, cloves, green cardamom, black cardamom, nutmeg, mace and tulsi powder. It has to be consumed for three days in a row for better results.
The Chief Minister also released a catalogue of various products manufactured by the SHG.
Officials said the churan has been approved by the laboratory of Shri Bhanwar Lal Dugar Ayurved Vishwa Bharti situated in Churu in Rajasthan. This institution was set up in 1955 and is accredited by the Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM).
According to the Ministry of AYUSH, this herbal powder is very much effective in the fight against coronavirus. It has been derived from an 800-years-old Ayurvedic formula.
