Naya Raipur is rapidly making its presence felt in the country as well as globally and constantly evolving with new features, said Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh on Monday while inaugurating the ‘Immersive Dome Theater’ in the new Capital city here.

He said that with the inauguration of the 5-D theater, Naya Raipur added another unique feather to its cap and went on to reveal that Jungle Safari and Botanical Garden were also ready to receive visitors. The much-awaited ‘Immersive Dome Theater’ at Central Park in Sector-20, developed by Naya Raipur Development Authority (NRDA) at a cost of around Rs 6.50 crore would be the first of its kind in Central India where 5-D movies will be screened.

The 5-D technology will give the audience the feeling that they are a part of the movie.  The Chief Minister said initially only English movies will be screened in the theater and hoped that soon Hindi and Chhattisgrahi movies will be available for screening. At present, two shows are being held in the theater.

On the occasion, Singh, along with a large number of children viewed an English movie at the theater.
