Chief Minister Raman Singh felicitated One-Stop Centre 'Sakhi' providing multi-purpose Integrated Women's emergency services on Independence Day.
The Facility Centre is run by the State Women and Child Development Department.
An entire set of issues related to women - suggestions, assistance, guidance and protection are provided by experts at the Facility Centre, officials informed. About 340 cases have been solved out of 581 cases till date and 130 distressed women and children had been provided with accommodation facilities.
Most of the cases are related to domestic violence, mental harassment , physical exploitation and cheating. Women in distress are provided with emergency services under one roof such as -medical facilities, legal assistance, psychological help and counselling.
