Chief Minister Raman Singh on Friday felicitated Dr Tomiyo Mizokami for spreading Indian culture and Indian languages in Japan.
The felicitation function was held at Osaka.
Singh while addressing an Investors Meet organised by CII said that he appreciated the efforts of Dr Tomiyo Mizokami for his abiding interest in Indian culture, language and traditions .
It is a privilege to honour and meet him. He is an intellectual and an Indian linguist and speaks fluent Hindi and also well-versed in Punjabi and Bengali languages, he said.
