Chief Minister Raman Singh has extended hearty greetings to the people of Chhattisgarh on the occasion of lord Gautam Buddha’s birth anniversary to be observed on Wednesday (May 14).
The Chief Minister in his message stated that that inspiring philosophies of lord Gautam Buddha based on the highest human values like truth, non-violence, compassion, kindness and social harmony are relevant even in the today’s scenario for people across the nation and world as a whole.
Singh said that lord Buddha’s philosophies have striking impact on lives of people in Chhattisgarh. The historical monuments related to Buddhism and idols of lord Buddha in Sirpur and Pachrahi are the significant examples of the same.
