nKeep yourselves safe along with your village and town from the coronavirus pandemic by following the rules laid down for quarantine, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said on Wednesday.

He made the appeal to all the migrant workers who have returned to the state. All of them are in quarantine in villages.

Baghel thanked the returning workers, students and others for their patience and discipline during this crisis. But they have a duty to keep everyone around them safe from Covid-19.

“Everyone should remain in 14 days mandatory quarantine and follow all the rules laid down for it. By doing this they will help their family members and village residents. Already school, panchayat building, Mangal Bhawan, community building, cooperative committee building and others have been converted into quarantine centres,” he added.

“People coming from other states is a challenge for the state. The biggest concern is that if any Covid-19 positive person enters the state, there are chances of increase in Covid-19 cases. Therefore, special care is being taken,” he said.
