Chief Minister Raman Singh on Thursday assured unemployed Ayurveda physicians and trained staff nurses that their grievances will be redressed at the earliest.

In the Jandarshan programme held at his residence here, a large number of women self-help groups, delegations of various organisations and citizens met the Chief Minister.

A delegation of Junior Doctors Association of Ayurveda (JUDA) led by its Chairman Dr Murlidhar Kurre also met Singh and handed him over a memorandum while stating that recruitment on 496 vacancies of Ayurveda Medical Officers is pending since last six years.

Commencement of the recruitment process will provide an opportunity to nearly 2500 registered Ayurveda physicians to apply for these vacancies, it was stated in the memorandum.

The Chief Minister sent their memorandum to Health Minister Ajay Chandrakar for redressal.

Another delegation of trained staff nurses led by Deepa Chauhan also handed over a memorandum, signed by nearly 1500 nurses to the Chief Minister while demanding recruitment of trained nurses.

The Chief Minister assured them that their grievances would be redressed soon.

Member of Janpad Panchayat Saraipali (Mahasamund district) Deepali Sarvansh told the Chief Minister that applicants are facing problems in availing loan facility under Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana from Central Bank of India in Saraipali.

Singh forwarded their memorandum to Mahasamund District Collector for examination and redressal.
