Collector Bhim Singh has directed officials to clear the pending wages of the labourers employed under MNREGA in Madwapathra village of the district.
Singh has asked the officials of the Postal Department to make the payment with additional surcharge of 5 per cent. The Collector issued the directives during a district level Jandarshan programme conducted organised here.
Singh also directed officials to take stringent action against an owner of a poultry farm in Post Office Ward as he allegedly reopened a shop once sealed by Municipal Council.
During the Jandharshan programme, the residents of Subhash Nagar and lalbagicha wards alleged of encroachment over government land by a Forest official, to which, Singh directed the SDM to demolish the illegal construction.
