Chhattisgarh Janata Congress (Jogi) in its Core Committee Meeting held here on Friday, finalised the names of 11 candidates for the Assembly polls to held in November-December next year.
According to party sources, the meeting discussed on the names for candidates of 25 Assembly seats and finalized the names in for 11 seats where there were no disputes.
The names have been declared well in advance so that the candidates get ample time to work in their regions.
The names of the candidates are— Omprakash Dewangan from Raipur (Rural), Santosh Kaushik from Takhatpur, Gitanjali Patel from Chandrapur, Gulab Singh from Bharatpur-Sonhat, Chaitram Sahu from Bhatapara, former IAS MS Paikra from Patthalgaon, Pankaj Tiwari from Premnagar, Vibhash Singh Thakur from Raigarh and Sanjeev Thakur from Mohla-Manpur.
