Top bureaucrats belonging to Indian Administrative Service, Indian Forest Service, Indian Police Service besides State Administrative Services and officers of several departments were present at the 11th Civil Services Day at the Mantralaya here on Friday.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s address on the occasion of Civil Services Day in New Delhi was also telecast live on the occasion. Chief Secretary Vivek Dhand congratulated the officers. In his address, he said that the day is meant for introspection for all the bureaucrats. The Chief Secretary added that the officers are working relentlessly in education, health, security and many other fields.
Dhand called upon the officers to use technology and redress the grievances of the masses.
