CII’s Young Indians Raipur Chapter organised ‘Swachchh Bharat Abhiyan’ and distributed dustbins for generating awareness towards importance of maintaining cleanliness among citizens. The initiative of also distributing dustbins to hawkers is aimed at making people participating in the campaign and keep them aware towards the idea of cleanliness/sanitation, a CII press release issued here on Monday stated
Yi Raipur Chapter Members under the leadership of Prashant Dhariwal, Chairman, Swachh Bharat started distributing dustbins to the hawkers starting from Amapara Raipur which went upto Phool Chowk to create awareness for Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
Dhariwal said that Young people bring a different perspective and a fresh approach to create awareness about Swachata. While interacting with citizens over Yi’s Cleanliness Drive they said that the work which Yi are doing will have effect over cleaning Raipur which would promote cleanliness homes also. “Through this small initiative, we hope to energize the community and spark encouragement for the Clean India Mission,” Dhariwal said.
