CII Chhattisgarh State Office organised an interaction recently with Madan Mohan Mittal, Commerce & Industries Minister in Punjab Government, at New Circuit House in Raipur. Amit Dhaka, IAS & MD, Punjab Small Industries & Export Corporation and K S Brar, joint director, (Commerce) Department of Industries, Government of Punjab also participated in the interaction.
Mittal in his address gave a brief about Punjab and its initiatives regarding ‘inviting, attracting and bringing investments in the State’. “The Punjab Government has identified agro & food processing, textiles, light engineering, IT & IT enabled services as the focus area for growth,’’ the Minister said in his brief speech.
Brar and Dhaka gave a detailed presentation on Progressive Punjab for Industrial Promotion of Punjab. The members discussed about the business parameters and a holistic approach for better coordination across departments.
