Bharatiya Janata Party Chitrakote State Assembly constituency candidate Lachuram Kashyap’s son Chandrabhan Kashyap has been booked by police. Kashyap is in poll fray against Congress candidate and sitting MLA Deepak Baij.
As per information received, Chandrabhan is reported to have misbehaved with the election monitoring team. After which police booked him. It is said that he was booked after his father had filed the nomination papers and was returning.
Chandrabhan along with his three friends were stopped by the static monitoring committee team for inspection. During the inspection, he used abusive language and also indulged in violation of election model code of conduct.
