A ‘Child Protection Month’ will be organized in Chhattisgarh from August 24 to September 28.
Special drives will be held on health issues of children every Tuesday and Friday, both in the urban and rural areas, from 9 am to 4 pm.
Several events have been lined up during the month-long drive at Health and Anganwadi centres, an official communication said on Wednesday.
The drive will be jointly organized by the Health Department and the Women and Child Development Department.
A district level task force has been set up for regular vaccination programmes for children.
