Soon after taking charge as Chief Secretary of Chhattisgarh, Vivek Dhand is now on an inspection spree of various offices situated in Mahanadi Bhavan Naya Raipur. On Friday, the CS inspected Indravati Bhavan (HOD Office), located besides Mantralaya (Mahanadi Bhavan).
He visited rooms of State Government’s various directorates and interacted with the officials and employees there. Officials and employees of various directorates warmly welcomed the CS and conveyed their grievances to him.
Dhand inspected all the floors of Indravati building for nearly three hours. He instructed NRDA (Naya Raipur Development Authority) officials to complete the ongoing construction work in certain floors of the building as soon as possible.
Dhand convened a brief meeting of higher officials of various directorates and deliberated upon various issues. Chairman Dr Jitendra Singh Thakur and other officials of Government employee association accorded warm welcome to the CS at the HOD Office.
The employees handed over a memorandum to Chief Secretary that included various suggestions related to basic facilities in Indravati Bhavan. He informed the employees and officials that a community health centre of capacity 12-bed is under-construction in the same premises. The officials concerned were instructed to complete the construction work as soon as possible.
