For excellent work in areas of health and family welfare, gender equality, women empowerment, Chhattisgarh would be felicitated with JRD Tata award. Chief Minister Raman Singh has been extended invitation for receiving the award by Population Foundation of India Executive Director Poonam Mukherjee.
The ceremony would be held on October 12 at New Delhi.
Chhattisgarh has been selected in category ‘High Focus large State’. The award carries Rs 10 lakh cash.
