On completion of three years of the Bhupesh Baghel-led Congress Government in Chhattisgarh, a marathon "Run for Pride" has been organised on Tuesday. The Government led by Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel will complete its three years on December 17.
The marathon, which will be flagged off by Baghel from Gandhi Udyan at 6.30 in the morning, will pass through two routes and return to its starting point. The marathon has two main categories, Men’s and Women’s, for people aged 14 to 60 and for senior citizens and children. A 5-km race will be held in the Men’s and Women’s category.A cash prize of Rs 21,000 will be given to the winner and Rs 15,000 and Rs 11,000 to those finishing second and third respectively. Cash prizes of Rs 2,100 will be given to those finishing from fourth to tenth positions.
