Chhattisgarh Tourism Board for attracting the youth for undertaking bicycle ride including adventure and promoting ‘Bicycle Tourism’ is organising ‘Tourism on Wheels’ from June 30 to July 1, 2018 from Raipur-Dhamtari-Gangrel (Around 90 kilometres).
It is being organised with Tour de Raipur, Bicycle Club. The Bicycle ride would be flagged off on June 30 at 6.00 am from Marine Drive, Telibandha Raipur.
The riders would take the route of old Dhamtari road and reach Bardiha lake View Tourism Cottage, Gangrel. They riders can then be part of the water sports and rest for the night.
The main aim of the event is to promote use of bicycle in daily life and use it to explore the tourist places nearby, spreading the message of environment conservation and bare minimum utilisation of natural resources. The interested riders for registration can contact Chhattisgarh Tourism Board information centre at Mahant Ghasidas Museum ‘Gadh Hatari’ or Tour De Raipur, Bicycle Club.
