The Chhattisgarh Government on Saturday dismissed as "misleading and rumours" reports that lockdown will be extended till August 31 in State. It said lockdown enforced in hotspot districts will continue only till August 6.
The General Administration Department stated that at present District Collectors were given power to enforce and implement lockdown in their respective districts.
The lockdown will be based on prevailing local Covid-19 positive condition and pandemic situation.The clarification said that in different districts, lockdown was made effective till August 6 in hotspot areas.
