Just a day after disclosing name of his new party, former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Ajit Jogi launched the ‘mobile membership App’ of his new party ‘Chhattisgarh Janata Congress (Jogi)’ here on Wednesday.
“The interested persons can join 'Chhattisgarh Janata Congress (Jogi)' via the mobile App or through the membership forms. The founder members of the party will be provided with social-economical packages and very soon announcement in this regard will be made,” Jogi said while addressing a press conference while launching of the App.
He informed that Vinod Tiwari has been made the President of Youth wing of the party.
Tiwari was earlier a member of Chhattisgarh unit of the Congress party and had resigned from post in support of Ajit Jogi.
Rahul, a student of Mahant College made Ajit Jogi the ‘first and founder member’ of the party through the use of App on the occasion.
He further informed that he has about 7.50 lakh membership forms that were not accepted by Congress party. We would propose them to join our party, he said.
According to Jogi, the mobile App has been developed by youths from Chhattisgarh working in different IT firms at Chennai and Hyderabad. The App works on both online as well as offline modes. For getting the App, interested persons will have to simply give a missed call on 7722821000 after which they will receive a link and by clicking the link they can download the App, he said.
