Gunderdehi MlA RK Rai has demanded CBI probe into the Chhachhanpairi murder case in which mother of Congress leader Shiv Deharia was brutally killed while his father was critically injured.
While addressing media persons on Thursday, he said that Chhachhanpairi murder case was the most sensational in the State but such a case still remains unsolved.
Either State government could not solve the case or do not have intention to solve it, alleged Rai.
“I do not know that Chhachhanpairi murder case is political conspiracy or not, but I have doubt on the line of investigation which seems to be politically motivated”, he alleged.
Rai asked that SIT constituted by the police department nine months ago has not arrested anybody so far whereas SIT has not interrogated prime suspect Narendra Deharia despite the failure of his Polygraph test four months ago. SIT had not done brain mapping test of prime suspect and other suspects of the murder case, he said.Surprisingly, the silence of Shiv Deharia who had demanded CBI probe into the matter since nine months raises doubt of political settlement between Congress and State government, he alleged.
